What locations would you suggest for a family shoot?
Nature with natural backgrounds like fields , your home or anywhere you like to go with your family for a little adventure.
I am happy to suggest you some of my favorites of in and around Graz. It’s also possible to have a location further away.
Do you have to prepare anything before the shoot?
No! Ok maybe bring snacks for the kids. That’s always a good idea. But basically it’s just me following as a (mostly) silent observer.
Interact with your kids. Have fun.
Be present with them.
That’s really all you need for beautiful & meaningful family photos.
What should we wear?
Wear whatever you feel most comfortable
and yourself in. If you want a more natural look, choose neutral, earthy colors. If you like it bold and colorful, I am happy to shoot you all in bright colors too. I like to capture your natural self.
P.S. Let the kids choose what to wear, so they feel excited about getting picture taken.
What are family shoots with tobetold are like?
Family shoots with tobetold are a bit like a walk in nature. Family life can be (and mostly is) very chaotic so in my experience everyone feels best if we go outdoors and explore. Fun for the little ones, less stress for the grown ups and that's when the best for authentic photos. When they kids start exploring they even forget they are photographed.
What is the best time for a newborn shoot?
Whenever your little family is ready and settled a little bit. For new born stories I will visit you at home and we take the time your newest family member needs with lots of breaks.
Do you also offer larger family shoots with grandparents?
Yes - just send me a messages for more information.
How long does it take until we get our pictures?
About 10 workdays.
How will we receive our images?
You will get a link to a online gallery with a large selection of edited photos you can easily download and share. The online gallery will be available for a least 6months.
Will we get prints too?
Yes every booking includes some fine art prints nicely wrapped in a tobetold box.
Now these will all be stories one day.
